Patching, aprons and bags.........

Lucas had 2 pairs of pants he wanted patched. I thought of the idea of adding a little something to their patches awhile ago.
Sometimes that part doesn't last to long so I started adding some heavy duty iron on behind the picture. That helps alittle but they wear them out pretty fast!!

It made him happy so it makes me happy:)
I made this apron for a gal that wanted a Harley apron. Well Harley doesn't license their logo for fabric, so this is what I found.
I really like how it turned out and she did too. I didn't know it but her bike is turquoise so that's cool.

Have a holly jolly Christmas apron!! I think I cinched her waist alittle too much!! She's at Higher Grounds waiting to go home with someone and cook a turkey Christmas morning!!
I made a few more bags.
I finished this one today. She is going to Huron tomorrow to be a Christmas present for a girlfriend:)
I just think the owls are so cute..

Goodnight...........JMF

Sewing, and more.............

I finished the last 2 crayon aprons I had cut out.I only have one box of crayons left.
Another vintage button. I think it came off a coat if I can remember that far back!
Deer camp complete with heater, popcorn, pan to pop it in, granola bars, cards, to name a few, you would think he would be gone for days!! To bad he got his deer the first day, an average 4 point buck. I'm sure John or Lucas will go sit one evening with Papa just to watch for deer while eating popcorn, and playing cards.
Our new backyard visitor. As long as he stays on the wild side I will leave him scraps once in awhile.
The little white church on the hill:) I took this picture from our yard. Love my camera!
Lucas stayed with me on Sat while everyone else hunted. I got a lot of sewing done. The bag has a flannel baby blanket, burp rag and toy colt in it.
taggies I need to get sewing up some of the fabric that has been here for to long.

This was a flannel panel so there is a picture on each side. I just cut and folded so the ribbons are just on 3 sides. They are bright and cheerful so hopefully some baby will like them!

These have a small fleece blanket and horse in a small kid friendly toy bag!

Lucas played and did a few crafts!
In school the kids made gingerbread houses out of cardboard boxes, so when he saw all the crayon boxes in the garbage he made one for Papa. That is papa and Lucas on one side......
and Papa and Lucas in the deer camp camper!
He made on for mom dad to and put candy kisses in them. We both kept very busy:)
game cam possum in the back yard yuck!
Happy Thanksgiving!    JMF

Backyard game cam

Their water is frozen today. I'll have to put some in so they can have a drink before it freezes again.
Same old squirrel! John and I were out there getting the disk out of the game cam, and he picked up a piece of corn to show me how the squirrel just eats the middle, and throws the rest on the ground. Smart kid:)
 They come almost everyday.
2 raccoons hope they are just passing through.

While I was working on this I noticed these deer out the window, and wondered what had them shook up and then there he was...

The THIRTY POINT BUCK!! well minus 22 points.

A hodge podge...

I made 2 crayon aprons with this fabric.
 lunch time!

 I'm lovin my new camera.
It seems he is always fixing fence.

These are neck coolers. They have some beads that swell up when you soak them in water. I read on one blog you can put them in the microwave and use them for heat too.
2 more crayon aprons. I was smart and cut out 4 all the same colors...no thread change every apron:)

Then I was on a roll and made an apron too.
My 20 year quilt a yo yo quilt. I took the yo yo bag to town yesterday when I worked the election from 7 to 7 and got some more made.
So when I was cleaning my sewing area I put the yo yos back in the tote I found $59.00 in it. I wonder how many years it was in there???
You know what that means more fabric.....yes!!
I sewed alot of them in the car it's an easy project to take and to sew on the go.
Some one always has their butt in the way!!
Good news..........NO more election ads LOL............JMF
