New purses and a new shed......................

I'm still making a few purses between mistakes I'm enjoying it:) I kept one of these and the other one went to Huron.

This was the guys recycle reuse project this winter. They used part of these grain bins as calf shelters and the rest of the rings made the roof of this shed.
It's just the right size for the tractor and mixer wagon, and it's right next to the silage pile!
 It's got lights and everything!

 I'm sure it's one of a kind.
This purse has a inset zipper I should let it go at that but... After sewing ripping sewing ripping I got it done. I watched some you tube tutorials, read some instructions none of it helped much!!!
I'm not sure it goes with that dress tho:) Mom made that for me for the Snow Queen contest! She made alot of our clothes and was pretty darn good at it!
It's done at least I can say that:) I have enough fabric left to make a nice big pillow.........hopefully I can sew a square without ripping out a seam......................JMF

More Sewing for Christmas...........

These are the quilted sleeping bags I made for Rachel's doll bed.

I used a charm pack to make the top of this one, and coordinating prints for the rest of it.
I cut the squares for this one from a jelly roll, and searched in my stash for coordinating fabric for the rest of it.

She was happy with the whole setup:)

This wasn't really sewing as I used the staple gun to attach the fabric to the board.
I made one for each of the families. The camo one is Jared's family.

Carrie's

And Matt's The boards are cedar from some trees we had taken down years ago. We used some of them when we build our house, but still have some boards  in the shed. I made one more for myself but didn't see the picture.............JMF

Christmas Sewing...

I made a smaller version of Carrie's purse for our granddaughter Ellie for her birthday.

I found those cute Grandma love you tags out in Rapid City last winter.
 Three table runners for Carrie.
This fabric was a fat quarter bundle I bought off of Zulily.

You can't see them to good but there are cows in the bigger squares.

This is a little foot stool I made to go with Ellie's bean bag chair.
A little pouch to hold all her money in her new purse:)
Last of the table runners. Christmas fabric and fake leather strips, fast and easy.
We a quiet Christmas but a fun New Years Day with all the kids and grand kids. I guess it's back to the real world now....JMF
