My granddaughter Ellie made the jar with the J for me the last time we were up there. It fits right in the rest of them:)
I finally filled the dump truck again.
I just finished this purse and it went to it's new owner Sat.
Moving pairs to the just pairs part of the pasture. The moms are pretty good at following along even 2 at a time.
Get out and lets get away from here:)

Pillows and cows...................
I got a couple of pillows made for a school fund raiser.
The tiger cub fabric was from a kit I had but I guess it won't be a wall hanging anymore:)
When I went for a walk the other day the fall cows came over to the fence to check me out:)
The guys had weaned their calves and I think they were bored. They are back to their little pasture now that they are over missing the calves.
Checking cows the other night I found a few calves to take pics of.
They like to hide and he's doing a good job of it.
We got a nice rain.
I saw these birds on the wire and every time I walked past the window they were still there so I finally took a picture.
I noticed this on Jared's burb the other day and it made me think of my dad and Greg's grandpa Albert. They were both always rigging up things to serve a purpose. Like a calf hook holder!!
Our oldest son and his boys are the same way, always working on something.
Like these rubber mats made out of old tires. I'm sure my Dad and Albert are smiling:)
I saw this cat on top of the post the other night on my walk. I asked Lucas if it was one of his, and he thought it could have been from his cats. He's got some traveling Tom cats so who knows where it came from.................................JMF

Cows and quilts......JMF
The cows are in the calving pasture and cow town is set up:)
We found a couple new calves the other night when I went along with Greg to check.
I noticed this when Greg was shutting the gate and had time for one quick shot. It's a mile or more away so not the best quality pic.
I made these two quilts for Lucas. The one above is his new bed quilt. It is the same Fons and Porter pattern I have made a few times before. The surrounding blocks Lucas picked out from my wildlife/hunting tote of fabric. I have 3 of 7 quilts done for the grandkids. I have a good start on the 4th one, and know what I'm making for the other 3.
He loves baseball and I saw this on Pinterst so that was a good enough excuse for me! I had a found a big enough piece of cream colored fabric add some red and the rest is history:) I did cut bias strips to make the stitching and hand appliqued on. I used a basketball fleece on the back.
