Fall calving, Pillows, and plants............

The fall calving cows have started, and the  babies calves are so cute.
It is better to see them in the grass than the snow!!!

I made this pillow for the Children's Care Center silent auction, now I just have to get it to town!

 the back.

Back to calving:) Even tho this is a yellow tag it goes with a purple tagged cow that's what the p stands for then the number of the cow and the date of the calves birth. We do have pink tags too oh no!!! These calves will stay where they are so it won't matter.
 Motherly love:)

My garden wasn't the best this year but I do have a few pumpkins.

My best flowers. I haven't been to good this year with my plants:(
 Another pillow.

How does my garden grow?????

 Like crazy!!!

I see lots of squash in among the leaves and vines.

My tomato plant decided to take off too:)
These are the little gourd pumpkins last year I had little orange ones, these will stay white.

Lots of vines and blossoms but not alot of pumpkins. There are 3 bigger ones and a few little ones.

This is a snake gourd on the package it show them curly and colored, but this one just looks like a big fat anaconda or a python  that just had lunch!!
A little snake?? we'll see as time goes on what happens to them...........JMF

Harvest and cat pumpkin...what????

I was helping the hubby yesterday by watching that everything goes ok unloading corn. Which really means just stand there and shut the auger off if something goes wrong or when there is no more corn coming out of the truck.
With that said I got bored because rarely does anything go wrong and who wants to stand around just watching corn come out of a truck! I had my camera in my pocket so I took a few pics. This poor little oil shed as we call it just can't hold on to the paint anymore. If we tin it tho there goes all it's character. I think it was a little house at one time.
The old 44 one of Greg's first tractors.

 Checking yep everything's fine

Still fine are you getting sleepy? It is kind of hypnotizing

I brought some cow over so the squirrel is back!
I love this magazine!! it's got alittle of everything in it. I thought the little pumpkin was so cute I just happened to have planted that kind.
So here is mine not nearly as cute he looks alittle scared! Maybe he heard I'm not a big fan of cats. I just need to put the little orange bow on the stem.
Duty calls Hubby needs to more to another field................JMF
