More sewing...........

These next pics are of the little tag along quilts. I have lots of ribbons and thought this would be a good way to use them.
The back of it has fleece and more animals.
The ribbons, fleece and different fabrics makes it tactile.
Then I moved on to 9x13 hot pads for cake pans.  I got the idea from a good friend and have made several of them to give away.
All for now..........................JMF

Another quilt...... among the animals!

We have a couple of cats that hang around for scraps! No offense to anyone but I'm not a cat lover! If they hunt for mice and earn there keep they can stay:)
I put some corn out back of the house and we get deer, squirrels and birds to watch too.
I still have an over abundance of hen and chicks!
I made this quilt for a cousins new grandchild.
It was so fun to make. I never know what to do with those big prints and don't what to cut them up, so this is what I came up with. Not the best picture:(

I'm blogging again....I think?

It's been since Christmas that I have even looked at my blog! I was putting Mary, Joseph and one of the 3 wise men away! My good friend gave me this cute guys for Christmas a few years ago.
Then in Jan we sold calves.
I have been making book marks to use up some scraps.
I'm sure I could make one for everyone in South Dakota and still have plenty of scraps.
I just have a hard time throwing fabric away.
I've given them to schools and libraries and still have more to give away.
This was Greg's winter project. His thinking was  if we had another wet spring it would come in handy for calving. So far we have had a pretty good spring.
I've made a few of these small tactile tag along baby quilts.
This is the back it has fleece, cotton and ribbons for different textures........jmf

I gave them all away as gifts!
They are cute when they are done is about all I can say!!
