Sue's Vegas cup:)

This is Sue's cup and mine is yellow! I like to buy coffee cups or dish towels when we go someplace. It just makes me think of where I got them every time I use them. I love my pink cup from Glacier Nat. park, and my dish towel from Texas. So that's why I bought myself a cup, but.............. I had a more sinister reason for buying Sues!! I told her to drink her coffee from that cup every morning to bug her husband! I know I'm mean that way. Well she wants to go to Vegas and he doesn't so it serves him right..........right??? I still have hope she will get there someday:) Now I just hope he doesn't break her cup.LOL Just kidding Mike! There's plenty of places that I want to go to that Greg doesn't it's just part of life.

Wall/ door hanging

 This is the wall hanging I made Sarah for her birthday. She hangs then on her door in her porch that goes into the house. (does that make sense) To me it does:)

 The boarder is fake leather. I thought it looked nice with the colors of the chickens.

She said I'm hanging it on the door as soon as I get home! Love it when someone likes my quilting!!!!

Calving...............

 Hey I made it past the mail box!! at least 1/2 mile past it.

 I went with Greg to check the heifers.

 Here's some ladies in waiting..............to have their calves. Butterball in the middle that's Johns 4-H calf.

 It's the first time they have seen me, so all eyes were on me in my red coat:)

 They get to stay in for a few days, in their own suite. No double rooms yet!

Birds, buffalo, tractor and hunter.

 This was an impulse buy!! But I love it, but the mantel didn't...The picture looks great but in real life you could hardly see the birds. I bought it at Rafferty Robbins so many cute things there!!

 This pic isn't so good but you can see the birds and flowers better here. I have to admit Deb was right and I should have gotten the other one!! next time I will listen. I still love this one even tho Greg did not care for it. I finally said it is the only girly thing in the house it's staying!

 Mr Buffalo was out again. he just wonders around which isn't good. Thankfully we don't have much traffic past our house.

 So the chase was on. He is now in the feed lot with the 1 and 2 year olds. He seems to be happy and has stayed in

 What is that in the tree? His name is John!! Just doing  alittle hunting in the back yard. To bad Grandma won't let him shoot at my wildlife.

Lucas loves my music cards, so he lined them up for a picture. We sing along to them, but he won't do the chicken dance with me!
 I'll have to venture out past the mailbox and get some pictures of the baby calves maybe tomorrow!

Back yard visitor.

 This is what I saw when I got up this morning only he was using the grill for a scratching post. That's when I opened the door, and got this picture. He was the only one out must have been sick of hangin with the girls! Greg said he was over by the oil shed when he went out in the dark to check heifers. Then when he came back he was laying down and looks so relaxed so he finished chores. That's when he visited me.

 Lucas and I made these today. Pie crust nutella and some peanut butter chips.

 I didn't even take a picture after they were baked and of course they are gone now. We packaged up a couple a piece for Sarah and Johnny for their after school treat:)

 I found this free bunny pattern on the net so had to make acouple.

 Little flower for a tail on the girl. Sadly the boy didn't get a tail.

I made this pillow for Sue for Christmas. Not a good picture, it did turn out cute.
snow tomorrow might ruin a few plans good thing I don't mind staying home:)

Skull, fabric and bibs.

 This was our 13 year old buffalo bull. We sold him to a meat packer last year, and just got the skull back. The picture doesn't show how big it really is! The horns are huge and heavy, and that's just the horn caps. The dark part of the horn slip right off. Not sure where is will hang. Greg said maybe the basement but he never goes down there,so that's not a good idea.

 Some of the fabric I bought in Rapid City. We went to Pearl Louise's quilt shop, that was awesome:)   We also went to Fabric City that's a nice shop too.

 It's a panel I will show you later what I do with it.

 Still making the bibs. They are fun to make and don't take to long.

 I just can't seem to stop!

 I hope my cold is better this week I am sick of sounding like (as Greg says) a coon dog with a coon treed     not funny when I am doing the barking I mean coughing. I would like to get some other sewing done. I have one that needs quilting so far it's laying over the frame near the sewing machine, but I don't think it will quilt itself.

The fun has ended:)

 This was in Bellagio everything was so pretty.

 It had several high end stores of course Paula and I got alot of new things. ( If you believe that I have lake side plots for sale too!)

 The flowers in the conservatory were beautiful.

 When we were coming into the Rapid City airport this is what I saw out the window..........Where's the landing strip? It was kind of scary but the airport is out of town a ways so it looks like you are going to land in a field til you are almost there.


This is what we saw when we got closer to home lots of frost. It was melted not long after we got home.
So that was our winter adventure we had lots of fun, laughs, beautiful sights, food, and have memories to last til next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
